The Latest Fashion TrendsI love social networking, but I think since it has boomed in popularity people are now given the chance to see what their friends are really like. Things that I find ridiculous and trivial are so important to them and I am not sure how that happens. We used to be so much alike and as time move on we have become totally different kinds of people. While I wonder to myself about how poverytu affects the world and how ridiculous gas prices are, my friends worry about the lastest fashion trends and the Marg Helgenberger plastic surgery rumors. I suppose entertainment and human curiosty are both normal and healthy things, but I just cannot see why any of that is important. The main question is really whether my friends are normal and they are just doing what normal people do and I am the one that is off or is it the other way around.

The latest Ryan Reynolds movie was actually completed in 2008, and has been on the shelf for the last 3 years. ‘Fireflies in the Garden’, a drama starring Reynolds, Julia Roberts, and Willem Defoe, premiered at the Berlin Film Festival, but the company distributing the movie ran into financial troubles. Another company bought the rights, and it eventually came out in October of 2011.

Willem Defoe plays Ryan Reynolds’ abusive father and Julia Roberts, his mother. Reynolds’ character returns home after many years to face his past and his father. The delay didn’t seem to help the film. It hasn’t done well with audiences and the critical response has been lukewarm.

Reynolds is better known for comedy and action, but he has done some drama recently. He played an American soldier buried alive in the Iraqi desert in the appropriately titled ‘Buried’.

2011 has been a busy year for Ryan Reynolds. He also played the Green Lantern and co-starred in the buddy comedy ‘The Change-Up’.
